Company Leverages Reputation for Technical Superiority; Builds "Sales Machine" in Europe and North America
Oslo, Norway & Palo Alto, Calif. – February 25 , 2014 – Having been recognized by analysts and users for its unique, advanced monitoring technology, AIMS Innovation is mapping its next phase of growth by bringing onboard two highly experienced executives. Badr Boukili is the new global business development director while Scott Jackson will support Badr’s global sales drive and has been named the company's new U.S. business development director, covering North America.
"We are set for rapid growth driven by the pain enterprises have with effective application performance monitoring of their critical business system integrations," said Ivar Sagemo, CEO of AIMS Innovation. "Scott and Badr have the right marketing and business development experience along with impressive sales track records among a range of companies, from start-ups to the Fortune 50.
Although AIMS Innovation is a young company, its technology has already grabbed attention. AIMS for BizTalk recently received Frost & Sullivan’s Best Practices Excellence Award 2013 for Application Performance Monitoring.
AIMS for BizTalk has also attracted customers seeking easy-to-use, real-time, dynamic monitoring as well as an efficient pricing model. For example, Royal Caribbean and Aon Norway, part of the world's largest insurance brokerage, chose the AIMS Innovation solution to monitor their Microsoft® BizTalk® systems. Said Sagemo: "Customers like the fact that our product automates monitoring of Microsoft BizTalk, and the accuracy of the proactive "early warnings" that enable them to take preventive action to avoid downtime."
Armed with such positive support, the two new business development executives at AIMS Innovation are charged with expansion in key geographies. In the European market, Badr Boukili will utilize a long history of developing major revenue streams in new and existing markets. Previously, Boukili held senior management positions including VP of sales at BNY Mellon, based in London and managing director at Hugin, a Thomson Reuters company. Boukili has also been a business development executive at Thomson Dialog and MessageLabs. He was awarded an MBA by Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, UK, and a BA in international business from the Université Blaise Pascal in Clermont-Ferrand, France.
In the North American market, Scott Jackson will tie in with Badr’s drive forward and draw on more than 25 years of sales leadership that includes stints at Oracle and Microsoft. Most recently, he was vice president of global sales and business development at AppFirst, a maker of application performance monitoring products. He also founded Boldeye Systems, a provider of sales, marketing and business development services. Jackson earned a BS in management information science from Santa Clara University.
