Oslo, Norway, June 29, 2012 - AIMS Innovation, provider of proactive Microsoft Biztalk monitoring, announces the completion of the second round of seed funding. The financing round was led by PROG Seed and also included participation from Inven2 and Springfondet.
AIMS Innovation is a company founded by Inven2 and Oslo Innovation Center to commercialize pattern-matching technology from research at the University of Oslo. AIMS Innovation’s first product is AIMS for Biztalk, the game changing monitoring solution for Microsoft Biztalk. AIMS for Biztalk is now available for global sales and empowers Microsoft Biztalk users with a tool to prevent downtime and associated costs. Microsoft Biztalk enables organizations to integrate business critical systems and becomes a critical component to monitoring for large enterprises. Microsoft Biztalk is used by more than 80% of Fortune Global 100 according to Microsoft.
In this financing round Springfondet joins as a new investor. Springfondet is a seed capital fund located at Oslo Innovation Center. The fund invests in technology startups across a broad range of industries. Springfondet is owned by Oslo Innovation Center and Kistefos. Following the investment by Springfondet, Bente Loe joins the Board of Directors of AIMS Innovation replacing Odd Utgård.
